We’ve seen a rise in scam ads and fake websites pretending to be SkyCity. These fraudulent promotions often appear on social media or in app stores and are designed to trick people into clicking on unsafe links or downloading fake apps.
SkyCity does not promote its online casino through any third-party ads, including on Facebook, Instagram, or other social media platforms.
This page will help you spot the difference between real and fake SkyCity content, so you can protect yourself and others.
How to know it’s really SkyCity

Signs it might be a scam
· You saw it in a social media ad, especially one offering bonuses, prizes, or ‘free spins’ - like the example here.
· The website URL looks odd (e.g., skycity-casino-bonus123.net).
· You’re asked to download an app from anywhere other than official app stores.
· The branding looks close, but not quite right - poor logo quality, unusual language, or outdated images.
· It is illegal to advertise online gaming in both New Zealand and Australia
What to do if you see a fake ad or site
· Don’t click on it.
· Report the ad through the platform it appeared on (e.g., Facebook or Instagram).
