Sky Tower projections and night markets to shine this Matariki

The Sky Tower will illuminate as the Matariki constellation appears in the winter sky, welcoming in the new year. On the morning and evening of 10 July, animated artworks by emerging artists will be projected onto Tāmaki Makaurau's most recognisable landmark.

New thrill ride to launch from Auckland's Sky Tower

SkyCity and AJ Hackett Bungy New Zealand are set to launch the world's highest lift-and-descent ride from Auckland's Sky Tower on 26 June. SkyRide will take thrill-seekers 192 metres up the outside of New Zealand's tallest building before a high-speed descent back to ground level.
