Sky Tower lights for White Ribbon Day

Tomorrow night the Sky Tower will light in support of White Ribbon Day, an international event when people wear a white ribbon to show that they do not condone violence towards women.
White Ribbon Day acknowledges the many men willing to show leadership and commitment to promoting safe, healthy relationships within families and encourages men to challenge each other on abusive behaviours.

The Sky Tower is the Southern Hemisphere’s tallest free-standing structure. Based in the heart of Auckland, it is one of New Zealand’s most recognisable landmarks.
SkyCity lights the Sky Tower for charities or community initiatives that we support financially, to mark national holidays, milestones or other celebrations or events, or as a symbol of respect or solidarity.
